Yes.I took a short hiatus after surgery until I could get all my water in, but now I drink two cups of regular coffee a day.

I have no issues with it.

I fight badgers with spoons.

You're  grown-up---you get to decide what you put in your body. Caffeine is NOT the devil so many people think it is. DO some research on line, and decide for yourself if you want it. (I do---and the people around me want me to have it. *grin*)

Yes, my surgeon had no problems with me going back to caffeine "as tolerated".

Caffeine slows healing, so docs want you to kick the habit during your recovery.  I found my caffeine addiction again around 5 months post op.

Yes I continue to drink 1 cup of regular coffee each morning, but I drink more water right after.
