Welcome back Julie.

April 2004 feels like FOREVER ago, doesn't it?  Did you post back on our month-board here on OH back then?  I go back and look sometimes to get a feel for what we "used to do..." and it is SO DIFFERENT.

I get it.  I've been up and down and up and down.

The first step - you have done it - you're here.  You're talking.

And there's also the possibility of revising. I suggest you check out the Revision board.

Thank you! I am new to these kind of forums, how do I find it?

It's right here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/revision/

Do you see the blue bar at the top of the page, where it says 'Forums'? If you put your cursor on that word, you'll get a drop-down menu. All the various surgical boards are directly below that.

Ok, so I had my WLS in July 2004 and started creeping up about 2 yrs ago +/_.  I put the brakes on removed ALL carbs (bread/rice/pasta/etc) from my diet and ate just pure protein (chicken, fish, turkey, beef) and grilled veggies.  I lost all that I gained plus!  Put your mind to it.  You can do this!  Also, I returned to therapy.  I am fortunate because the therapist I see also had a gastric bypass 13 yrs ago and has maintained his weight loss.

Remember, it's our heads that are hungry not our tummies.

Good luck!

JA, thank you so much for your post. You are so right about the hunger being in our heads, thanks for the reminder. Your support and encouragement are so appreciated. What do you eat for breakfast? I am so sick of eggs. . . The people at work eat junk all day and talk about food all day, It was easier when I was unemployed. Also am so tired at night I don't exercise. Excuses, I know.  Anyway, thank you again!

Breakfast has always been a challenge from day one! I usually eat scrambled eggs or an omelet with veggies. Otherwise I do low fat yogurt with nuts and fruit.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. You can do this!!!!
