Exercise=Exhaustion... anyone else experience this?
Most days i feel GREAT! I am 19 days post-op and i am exercising every day.. however like yesterday if i exercise too long typically over an hour i get extremely tired/exhausted/overall weak. I feel like if i do too much i could fall over and just sleep. Just wondering if this is normal for where i am at? Also if it is when does it get better??? I always feel like i could go for a nap especially after exercising. I just bought myself some new gym sneakers i would really like to use them sooner than later...
sounds like you're overdoing it so early out.

I am walking only! Week 3 is 24 min 2x day and i am doing a little over an hour 1x day so not too far off i am increased only by 8 minutes is that really that off to cause the exhaustion though?

Tell my 6 and 8 year old this!!!! LOL but seriously i went to an egg hunt with them today at a playground down the road and did a lot of walking and standing more like 2 hours but i wasn't walking the entire time.
Actually, YOU need to tell your 6 and 8 year olds what you can and can't do. You are way overdoing for where you are. You are going to set yourself up for a relapse if you aren't careful.
Your body has been thru a major trauma and is still trying to heal from that. Your body can do one of two things,heal from the trauma or keep you going at your usual pace. Being tired after too much walking is your bodies way of saying "STOP STOP STOP" . I am trying to heal you from trauma and you won't let me get on with my job cause you are too busy! Your body can't do both and something is going to suffer. will it be your healing or will you slow down and help your body out?
