Is the Exelon Patch ok to use?

Due to some memory and other brain function problems (not alzheimers), my neurologist has recommended that I go on the Exelon patch.  He has put me on the lowest dose of 4.6 mg.  This is a one per day patch where the medicine is absorbed through the skin.  They do have a pill but it is too hard on the stomach.  If I can't take this to help with my brain, does anyone know what we can use?

I'm no doc (amd don't play one on tv ) but I'd say since it is absorbed thru the skin it should be ok. I use a fentanyl patch and it works great, altho I have a band. The best person to ask would be your surgeon or the pharmacist, either should be able to give you a good answer
