Woot 2 yrs out w/pics but also have a serious question
Hello to all, Well let me tell you my journey this far has been great. At the beginning i was 274 pounds now 137 lbs 39 years old(5 feet 4 in) Went from pant size 26/28 (4x) to a 5/7 (s/m) my shirts are small to xsmall It's amazing to all the things I can do now to where I could not do before (shopping, rides, chairs, walking, running, dancing,) To all of you who are starting this journey hang on tight it's gonna be amazing :)...... And for you single ladies the man attention I now get is OMG unbelievable
Not gonna lie there is some downfalls body wise I lost all my boobs they look like 80 year olds ugh I have to buy training bras embarrassing also have lots of excess skin in my inner thighs and a saggy ass (pear shape I was) yes hide able but not very nice naked (I'm single so makes it tuff) But other than that all good.
Now for the serious question (More for the Vets) (i don’t want to be judge just want info feedback) I’m now into weight lifting I started about 2 months ago I'm at the gym 3 to 4 times a week for about 2 hrs I love doing this so now here is the question I'm looking into taking Anavar low dose oral (yes it is a steroid) but with the bybass how would this affect my pouch? would it absorb ?
Thank you :)
Big Hugs to all WLSer's New and Vets
Here's my serious question. You've done all this amazing stuff to improve your health -- why on Earth would you want to take a steroid? Do a little more research and don't mess up the good thing you've got going on. When you get old like me (shortly to be 59) you will be a bit more appreciative of your health. Go natural, be proud of your progress so far, and don't take the steroid. There is absolutely no good reason to do it.

Steroid are serious things... It is your body and your decision.. but have in mind that they may mess up permanently your own adrenal response.
I never took steroids but I have back issue - and 10 years ago I got 3 steroid injections for my back, then a couple of years later- my shoulder was injured - so the doc gave me steroids shots...
Now I deal with adrenal insufficiency. It may not be related to the steroids I had but it may be.. (it is very likely).
I also had to have cataract surgery - and steroid use may contributed to early onset of that...
Trust me - Adrenal insufficiency is something I don't wish for anyone..
Make sure you are aware of possible long term effects of the steroids you want to take.. For health reason - that is one thing, but for body building - I would not risk it...
Also - long term steroid use may cause ulcers ... so make sure you do know all the facts before you do that.
Hugs...

honestly, i would worry less about absorption and take a real hard look at why you would want to take an anabolic steroid. have you considered that you replaced food with exercise? is body obsession still ruling your life?
you've obviously taken this tool and rocked it. keep up the good work, naturally. don't take drugs. that just opens up a world of issues, both physical and emotional.
HI,
I am completely new to this site and just going around to see how the vets are achieving their weight loss. And i must say that you look awesome and have done such a great job. I dont see what sagging you are talking about. What types of exercises did you do to not have arm or belly "extra skin". I would really appreciate your feedback, and once again. You look great. You are such an inspiration.
Please say no. Please don't. You will open a whole new can of worms you want to mess with. I am a dental hygienist and had husband wife couple who were patients of mine and both were body building - using what you listed to use. He had terrible mood swings - both were nurses. He lost his job. She died of brain cancer from steriods. Very very sad and very young children. All within 3 yrs of starting.
Simply, you are so beautiful now. Care for yourself in a clean loving way as you have been. Love to you - Krissy
