Well that was a somewhat enjoyable but odd experience!

I dared to walk into AEROPOSTLE today lol i just had to because being so obese for so long i would never dare step foot in that store. I felt awkward i won't lie but i tried an XL top and an XL sweats bottom on and they both fit!!! Top was tighter than i am used to but fit. I ended up purchasing the sweats. Also went into gap and got a hoodie and another pair of sweats in a XL. These little things.... I still felt insecure a bit though like people looking at me like why is the big girl in this store.. or waiting for an associate to tell me they don't carry my size. Maybe i wasn't ready for this kind of shopping yet but i am glad i didn't had i not i wouldn't have known i could wear an XL!

I am almost 12 months post op and I do that all the time. I went to get new scrubs for work, and went right to the 2x-3x sizes, but I know I wear a size Small now. last weekend I went into Victoria secret and was shocked that I should be wearing a 34 D. I havent been fit for a bra since pre-op and went from a 44ddd to 34 D. Thank god I have been shopping at Kohls a lot and knew I was at least down to a 36c. But I tend to wear sports bras anymore.
