What is Orange theory?? Sounds like something you would eat.

But tonight, once the hubby is home from work we are heading out to the gym. Yesterday I did arms, and core. So today will be a 45 min bike then legs, and of course always core. Got to get my planks in everyday.

Orange Theory is a HIIT training program based on heart rate levels.

Take it for what it is worth, but if you switch that around, do legs and then the bike you will get more out of it. You should always do strength before cardio. This way you use the available glycogen for working your muscles and then you exhaust your glycogen with the cardio. If you do it the other way around your body is trying to get muscle energy while you are working your biggest muscles.

I like planks, but I am not on your level yet. Working on it though!

Aww thanks. Yeah I would like to do cardio last that is what I have always trained to do, but my husband being the military man that he is thinks (since he was trained that way) that you have to do cardio first. So would that be closely related to cross fit?? Which I do every Saturday Morning. My huband will not do it with me, he thinks it would be to easy. But I have seen grown men tossing their cookies in the first 15 mins.

It is similar in approach but less focus on weights. Pretty much 50/50 strength/cardio. All dumbbell and suspension training. Crosscut is hard core. Impressive.
