Recipe of the Day - Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps
I love Thai Food, love it. I could probably eat it every day and a lot of it is very healthy for you. One of my favorite dishes is Thai Beef Salad or Yum Nua. I learned to make it at home and wanted to find a way to make it for a party where I could serve it but not as a salad and I came up with lettuce wraps. My family now prefers these to the actual salad at our favorite Thai restaurant. This is one of my all time favorite foods and this is an original recipe by me on my food blog. Enjoy!

I love this and its actually very easy to make just barely searing a piece of eye round and then cutting it into long narrow french-fry like shapes .
I have a personal extreme short cut I use for this yummy salad too .. using Boars head Londonport roast beef , sliced as thick as possible at the deli. I cut off all the visible fat and share it with the cat ... and then slice the rest thinly ... and add red onion lime juice chili flakes etc . MAYBE A touch of the fish sauce .
Then .. i too serve it in lettuce wraps ..recipe works great with poached shrimp ( i use chicken stock,, lime and chili flakes to poach ) too .
