Orange Theory this morning, somewhere around 600 calories burned (the cardio gx crapped out with 10 mins to go). I ran an 8:30 mile which I feel pretty freaking good about.

45 minute walk at 4.5 mph. I have done something to my calf...hurts when I run. I decided to take it easy today in hopes of sprinting tomorrow.

Took 12 " pressurized wood facing of approx forty feet of cast concrete foundations . Tougher than it sounds ( much of it was embedded in solid concrete and required a hammerdrill and crowbar-ing to chip of ) .  

Afternoon- installed a 22 foot  thousand pound  10 inch steel i beam 9 feet overhead with two 5 " iron columns to support it .  This makes a loft-like space out of  what were two poky little rooms ... now we're raising the roof and installing six 4 foot x 4 foot skylights ! 

I'm totally touched that I have such good friends that they're actually willing to devote their considerable skills and time to helping me essentially build a house for  myself . its like  a barn-raising - only  its a home -raising  mail
