Hello Sherry, Sleeping late is good I wish i could but i have never been on to sleep late It makes me mad if i do sleep later than usualy i feel like i have wasted half the day. My motto is "I'll sleep when i am dead" You have a good day too and relax I did that yesterday Hugs Val

Hi Val (and all OH Members) Up here, in Ontario, we had our holiday last weekend. So, today is a regular work day for me. It rained all day on Sunday, so I started indoors projects. I am refinishing my interior doors and redecorating one bedroom. I am making the bedroom a 70's retro theme. The room has purple/ black/ white shag carpet which is still in good shape. So I bought purple curtains and linens. I am painting the walls lilac. Hopefully, I will have no trouble finding a purple bean bag chair and a purple lava lamp, to accessorize the look. I am hoping the room will be used by my grandchildren, when they visit for sleep overs. I already have one themed guest room in mint green with Winnie the Pooh curtains and linens. But, I am having my third grand child in November, so another room needs to be made available for sleep overs. Happy Holiday to my American OH Friends !!! Karen G Toronto, Ontario, Canada

So Karen, What did you do for Victoria Day?? I used to live on the Canadian Border across from Cornwall, Ont. I remember how the bars would be packed on those Sunday nights since no Canadian bars were open on Sundays. Gosh, there's be so many guys, I would dance til my legs nearly fell off!!! Susan

We had nice weather, so I got some gardening done last weekend. Just clearing out the winter's dead grass and re-seeding/fertilizing to thicken up the new grass. I went out Karaoking and dancing on Saturday and Sunday nights. The bars are open 7 days a week now.....so there was Karaoke on the Sunday night of the holiday weekend, too. I'm pretty much a night owl. I spend alot of time at my local pubs. I don't drink alcohol, but I sing, dance, play pool and play darts. It keeps me busy. Karen G
