As you lose weight, lots of veins on your legs???
Get your labs done, and get a record of the actual numbers, not just the doc's say-so that they are OK. If you aren't low on iron and ferritin now, I would bet money that you will be. Anemia is extremely common, and it takes a long time to increase ferritin with supplements. It is very common to need iron infusions, so please stay on top of this.
I know Kelley had a spreadsheet for excel that I use to track labs over time. This is really important. The trend needs to be watched as much as the current numbers, so that you can increase or decrease supplements as needed.

Glad you posted this! There are some very good responses.
I've been wondering about my veins as well. I have horrible swelling in my lower legs despite my weight loss (even if i'm only half way there), diuretics, and compression stockings.
I've also been suffering from the dizzyness/black outs. I saw 2 of my doctors last week (my GP and my internist) and they both just kinda shrugged it off. The internist finally said he thinks it's probably related to the weight loss and we'll see how it goes. I've been afraid to get active because of my black outs, but he says I should just start anyways, so I'm starting swimming this week.
Last thing I need is to black out in a pool though >.
I haven't noticed it so much in my legs - but in my arms - especially my forearms- it is pretty bad. To me it looks like I have the arms of a seriously old lady -visualize Great-Gramma :) Now that I have read Grim's ordeal I am hunched over in my chair cringing at the whole vein hook :0
Yikes. For me the sagging skin is the worst of the side-effects of the WL. I can only blame myself but looking at it and stuffing it into my skinnier clothes makes me feel even more self conscious than I was when I was obese. The veins on my arms along with the bat wings make ¾ length sleeves a must !
STILL gagging...
