Are You Naked In Surgery??

Just curious Are you naked when your in surgery? I mean the gowns they give you to wear are'nt exactly closable all of the way and those having open RNY is'nt your chest exposed?? Thanks!! ML

OH yes your naked but don"t worry they"ve seen it all.

I always tell my kids when they act modest - "if I see anything I haven't seen before I'll point at it and laugh". Gets em every time!

To be quite honest I have no idea since I was out cold before the surgery started so I couldn't you ,maybe someone on here who works with wls surgeon could tell us . Good question . Kristy

I know that you are naked during surgery, but I was wondering and asked a few friends...we are all overweight....the purpose for this surgery...so what do they do with our boobies when they just hang in the way? Flip em over, bandage them up... What do they do with them? I was just curious..I don't like being touched there when I don't know what's going on LOL.

You're very naked. They insert catheters, check for (& remove) tampons, and other assorted ameneties. But it's all good - they've all seen it a thousand times before. And you're out cold - so you won't know or care.
