I HATE cold food!!!!!
I'm sitting here looking at the remaining, ice cold half of my lunch that I should still eat more of if I don't want to eat again before dinner. I used to be a "piping hot from the oven" gal, and I'm really trying hard to learn to like cold food -- cause it don't matter what it is, or how hot it starts, it's stone cold before I finish eating. The little things you don't think about
Today, that's my biggest complaint, so I am truly blessed. Happy holidays to everyone!

I have a problem with cold food. My pouch hurts when I eat yogurt, cottage cheese, and lunch meat. Now frozen yogurt, cream cheese, ect are fine. I am 13 months out and it is still a problem. I still can not drink cold tap water but cold bottled water is great. It is interesting how our body changes.
Merry Christmas

My surgeon's coordinator had a good suggestion for this problem. That was, try using a baby food warming plate - they are little and have like 2-3 sections and you plug them in to warm the unit up or you put ho****er in (something like thta) and they keep food warm. I didn't try it because I have needed to be on liquids for 5 months due to a leak and as just now beginning to have some soft foods! I hope that helps.
I am SOOOOO with you on this. I hate it when my food gets cold waiting for me to pick at it and eat it. I'm probably eating a little faster than you are, but it still gets cold and I still try to eat it. I specifically can't tolerate eggs for that very reason. I'm trying to think ahead when I prepare dinner and fix only things that I can stand if it gets a little cold for me.
