Topic: I did it !
Well, last night I made my first walk from our campsite to the track and did it without whining or having to stop and rest my back and my hip. AND I discovered that those dang seats are not comfortable for hours when you forget your seat cushion .. lol .. All this progress and I am only down 35 pounds .. I can imagine how great I will feel when it is 135 pounds.
Anyhow .. the truck race was great .. I loved how Mikey was running so strong, just sorry that he got messed up in the end and didn't win
.
AND .. this is day three at LMS without a rain drop .. almost a record for me . lol
Hugs,
Mo

Angie--how was Talladega? Was this your first race? I am going to Talladega in Oct and it will be my first race. I am so excited, but also concerned about all the walking. So far I have lost 88 lbs but hopefully I will have a lot more off by Oct. Our seats are in OV south tower.

We are F-Body people.
We have a navy blue metallic '01 Ram Air Trans Am and a red '00 Camaro Z28. I've been checking your profile now and then. I'm going to post on your surgery page shortly, but in the meantime, I hope all goes well on Monday and my thoughts and prayers are with you! I'm sure you'll be feeling great in no time
and I'll see you in Indy

Woo hoo!! Go Junior, Go Junior Go!
Yes, the race was great! I can't wait for the day when I can get back to the track and be able to fit into a seat (or stay within my allotted 22" of bleacher space at Martinsville or Darlington.)

It seem like every race we went to it rained one time or another. Good luck on your surgery. I'm envious mine looks like it won't happen until sometime in June. So another vacation of sitting at the van while everyone else goes to the trailers to look. Well, by next year I'll have them running to keep up with me. HA HA!

We were in Concord for 13 days last May and it rained 10 of them. Then in October for another 8 days and it rained at least 6 more days. AND to top it off, we went the day after Thanksgiving for the big souvenier blowout sale and it POURED then too. I wake up and say .. oh it's raining I must be in Charlotte!!! I have hopes it will be a dryer year for NASCAR period!

Cooooool!!
What kind of car do you run at the track? I am a die-hard Ford woman. I drive a Mustang. I think it is GREAT that you and your husband can race one another and come home and then sleep in the same bed too! (Alot of men do not deal with losing to a chick very well)
I agree that the world seems to be over run with NASCAR fans..
It is alot more tough to find a drag racer in the crowds. I will definitely be at Indy this year
and would love to hook up with you if you are there as well! My email address is [email protected]. I will keep your email address handy -- and please do the same with mine!
