anyone not have diabetes but experience low blood sugar????  I have been feeling run down for over a week.  Last night I decided to check my blood sugar with my husbands' test kit.  It was 53.

Hi Becky,
That used to happen to me frequently, but now with all the extra protein supplements that I have been taking, it doesn't happen as often.  If you eat low GI foods it will help to keep the sugars level and also pair them with protein.

Thanks Deanne.  I think I have been watching my sugar intake way too closely and need to increase some carbs.  I am getting in my protein okay.

Becky,
Make sure they are Low Glycemic carbs as some carbs will cause a spike and a quick drop.
