OT: JEANS?

What I did just last weekend was to go to Nordstroms and ask for a fashion consultant. I gave her my budget. Told her what I needed (basically I have NOTHING for this Spring/Summer) and she threw stuff to me to try on and gave me honest opinions on what worked and what didn't.
To hear from a saleslady, "That looks good, but I think I can find something that will flatter your bottom more" was a God send. We dont need to hear stuff that isn't true, we need honesty!
Anyway, it's a great option for those of you who have no clue what to buy or what would even look good on you.....most of all it was fun!

FUN!!!

I had a similar personal party last week at Forever 21!  Only I doubt any of those cute young things were "fashion consultants"!  LOL!  But, they gathered themselves and brought in piles for me to try on.  "Their" conclusion?  That I should wear SKINNY jeans with blousy tops!  Hello?!  Do you know how skinny, SKINNY jeans really are?  ....I turned red when they were all giving their .02 and then had to sit down to PEEEEEL them off!  I was able to escape with most of my fat brain in tact!  (meaning I chose not to show the world EVERY lil wrinkle and crease on my back side......think sharpei....EWWWWWW!!!!)  Oh yeah...I do work for a plastic surgeon but the "fixx" list is long and so the "skinny jean" area is way down the list!  ha ha!

But...shopping with opinions is totally fun.  I'd love to shop where there's a professional fashion consultant!  I'm afraid my budget wouldn't invite much enthusiasm from them though!  LOL!
