Hmmmmm I thought there was another woman Dr up there. Its been about two years So .. Sprunger's time is up and may be getting ready to leave - I think Dr Blackstone preceps surgeons doing their fellowships .
A friend of mine is looking for a female surgeon. looks like she may have to settle for Dr B.

Thank for all the support during my recent hospital visit. They had to remove my gallbladder and also found diverticulitis. Came home Saturday and feeling much better. Still very sore. Be up and around in a few days. Thanks everyone.

How often do you meet? And is it always in the East Valley?
I am getting back on track myself and would love to meet others.

Looks like SHS has Dr Blackstone, Dr Sprunger, and a new fellow Dr Chandanos. Now from working at Mayo clinic, fellows don't do surgery on their own, he is working under one or both of the other surgeons.
Topic: RE: Hi all...AZ newbie here
Hi everyone.
I'm excited to find this forum. I had lap-band surgery on Oct. 3,08. I've lost 67lbs and have 15 to go. I'm also a type1 diabetic for 44yrs. That in and of itself makes losing weight very difficult. The True Results forum has disappered and I found this 1. I would love to meet some people in my area, I live in Peoria. All of you have done very very well. I hope I can continue this journey with all of you.

Topic: RE: I have a question about the hospital stay...
I agree but my husband will be with me in Phoenix.. and he will take care of stuff while I am recovering.. but we talked about it and decided to tell everyone a week.. and just leave our son at his grandmothers so she doesn't have to come to our house.. Thanks so much for your advice.
