Hi all,

I had my RNY in March of 09 at St Luke's in PHX.

I started at 705lbs in Aug of 07, now I am 341lbs and still losing. I have lost more than half my body weight...363lbs so far. 150 of that was before my surgery.

It has been one heck of a ride!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, and see who else was around the AZ area.

I am from Florence, and looking forward to getting aquainted with some locals.

Topic: I have a question about the hospital stay...

When they scheduled me, thy said I was only going to be in the hospital overnight (this is a good thing) but I was under the impression that it was 4 days, since I am having gastric bypass.. so .. I guess my question is.. how long am I going to be in the hospital? (as long as there is no complications)

That's cool.. I am so excited... I start my two week liquid diet tommorrow. :) and yes.. I'll be at a support group soon.

Thanks for the encouraging words Joyce, I have learned my lesson. I need to keep an extra protein drink with me and watch the clock. We did some unplanned running around and it had been way way too long in between drinks. Back on track, it has been a good day! Jeannie

Wow! That is FAST!!!

I'll be at the Bridges Centre at a meeting on that very day and at that very time!!!! I'll be thinkin of you over there in the main hosp O.R. .... sending happy prayers!!!
