Hello,we have these 9 birds that are the most loing things in the whole. Their names are lucy, desi, ethel, junior, edie, marge, peggy, hank & homer. They are our family, and we also have 3 rabbits, hoppy, cottontail & charlie. They are a joy in our lives. They are so loving and don't talk back. Its nice to come home to them and have some time to play with them. Have a great day! Hope your recovery is going as well as mine.My animals have really helped my recovery too, just by being there as a comfort when I'm having a bad day. Hugs!

I have 3 zebra finches. What does it mean when they sit with their beak in a frozen open position? And why does one female continually puff up to double her size? (She is healthy.) The saddest thing that happened was that I bought 2 white zebras & the male nearly killed the prior gray four times in one month; finally the white male (who was beautiful & tiny) had to go back to the pet store where he was furiously flogging others as I left. Thanks for any information you may care to pass along! Hugs! Rusty

Rusty, Thank you for your reply.I do not know the reason for the bird sitting with their beak in a open position, but you might want to ask your vet or pet store about that. All female & male birds puff up,they are still healthy, they might be sleeping or cleaning themselves. What kind of birds do you have? Sorry to hear about your one bird that got killed. Our one zebra finch was attacking the other zebra finch and pucking her feathers out,we put her with another finchm, and the finch that was hurt is by herself now,and is happy as can be! You can also email me direct at: [email protected] Keep in touch. Hugs! Mary
