I totally understand how you are feeling.  The first time I started the process for wls the dr office told me I had to go through all the same things so I gave up.  A year later I started the process over again and stuck to it .  It has paid off. From consult 9/3/08 to today I have losted over thirty pounds and on the losers bench.  So please stay positive and keep working for what you want.
