OT: HELP NEEDED - Classy WEAVE Ideas

Ok, I normally wear my own hair.  I been wearing the style in my pic since the 90s.  I always thought it gave me the conservative look I wanted.  Every now and then I will try a weave or a new style but always end up looking a little ghetto!

Ok so now I am going on a business trip to Boston and its freaking snowing there.  MY hair is not long enough.  So I want to wear a hair weave or WIG!!!  I need help.  What are some good styles that will still look professional and classy but give a sister some length.  I have even been thinking about an 'ethnic' style but don't want to be too sistah girl.  After all I am going there on business.  Any suggestions??????????

Since you like to wear your own hair...ever consider a ponytail clip? There are many nice styles, long, short, puffy, curly....

Before I cut my hair I used to rock ponytail clips all the time and your hair is longer than mine was so I know that you can gather it back or on top of your head, clip that bad boy on and be on your way!

Never really considered a pony tail clip.  I am not the pony tail type cuz my arse is old and I also want something to cover my ears.  I want to wear hats and scarves while I am braving the cold.

My advice to you is buy some human hair, go the the hairsdresser, let her know that you want a classy professional cut, so she can cut it to fit your face.
Tis better to be dis-liked than to be loved by them cuz your always on their mind.

My only issue with that is the sistah I know here that does it charges $200.00 for a hair weave.  I just don't wanna pay that if I don't like it in the end, or still look a little ghetto. I may try that though.

Why don't you get a weave in a bob cut whether it may be a waeve or a wig. Bobs are in style right now and it is professional enough for you towear for work. Good luck!

thanks! That was actually a wig that I got for $20. I'm wearing a chinese bob weave right now. Wow the weaves in Tx is really expensive. See if they can give you a glued capped weave that should be a little cheaper than a sew on. It also lasts at least 2-3 weeks.

Hairsisters.com has a great selection of the synthetic lace or mono top wigs, they're professional looking and won't cost you an arm and a leg to find a style that suits you.

I am loving that site.  My order won't be here in time for the trip, but I will go to a local wig store and have the wig sewn on for my trip.
