I prevailed at a first level grievance review for a revision of an old stomach stapling [1987] to a RNY. Surgery scheduled for March 10. Thanks BAF for your support. I was so disappointed when I got my first denial. Reading - and occasionally posting on these boards - helps me to know I'm not alone on the journey. Please pray for me that all goes well with the procedure- I'm always standing in the need of prayer athough I feel that its only by God's grace have I made it this far.- as the song goes "I don't believe He'd bring me this far, to leave me"
Hey Rhonda...You are in great hands...Dr. Meilahn is a great surgeon...He was my first choice but I actually love my surgeon...They are kind of in the same loop...Both @ Temple U but mines is @ Jeanes which is affiliated with Temple U...I wish you the best and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

You will be just fine. I just had a revision Jan 13th. I was nervous too, but as they were wheeling me in I prayed and asked God to guide the surgeons hands and prayed for everyone assisting him and I already have and will continue to pray for you.
