I Was Blessed Today!

I had to share this with you all today...

A good friend of mine is all into holistic healing, etc. and she invited me to a "women's" event - "When The Women Gather: The Romance of Perfume" to spend a day with an aromatic alchemist, learning the secrets of perfumery and scents from all over the world. The women would make 3 different original scents (to take home); Unfortunately, the cost was more than I wanted to pay (Almost $200)...and I said to her...I definitely need this event - but I also need a sponsor (LOL!); I had to turn down the invite...But God!

Today, I got a call from her - one of the ladies *****gistered and paid for the event had to cancel, and asked that she give the registration to someone who was unable to afford to go - My friend called and offered me the opportunity to attend this wonderful event!  It takes place at Miller Beach, in Gary, IN on the Lakefront...in a very quiet and serene environment...all day tomorrow...and I am GOING - BROKE FOOT AND ALL!!!

She said to me - the first person I thought about was YOU - because you have blessed me with your friendship...you have blessed me by praying for my mom...and I wanted YOU to receive this great blessing!

I am so looking forward to this time of reflection...and sharing...and grateful for the gift of a stranger who PAID IT FORWARD!

See there - that's probably the same thing MOST are saying! But, she promised me she will not have me all over the place...and is bringing a lounging chair...just for me!

I'll definitely let you all know how it went...especially since we are expecting a good day tomorrow (in spite of the rain!)
