Introducing myself

Hello.My name is Latasha.I am mostly a lurker on the boards but have posted a few times on various other topics around OH.Well I have been struggling with my weight all of my life and finally I have an appointment with my surgeon next week to set a date!!! I am excited but scared at the same time.My family does not support me in this but my man does.I hope to get to know all of you so I thought that I would stop by and say HI!

Thanks Ms.Philly Diva I need all the support that I can get.It is a pain in the you know what that you cannot get the support from your own family members.

I did not tell my family until I was close to my surgery date....the other people i told (from church) was so critical, so I closed everybody off and jumped in the water....I'm doing great today.....best thing I could have done!
