I didnt see Quuen Latifah on anything trying to loose weight??/ Maybe I just don****ch enough damn TV

But I have to admit I did like her clothing line! They were sharo not even sure if she still has that or not. it was just to damn expensive for me so I stopped looking at them.

The Queen did do some commercials for Jenny Craig awhile back and she promoted herself as getting "a size healthy" but I haven't seen those in a minute. Hmm!

I think Mo'nique looks great! She really is slimming down, and in those pictures, not far from MC!

Yeah you can tell she had the surgery by her face neck and arms and her body is much,much smaller but she wont admit it.Im not a hater she's looks lovely.Im a monique fan.She must have been tired of the extra baggage like me.She's always gonna be beautiful.Thats my girl.Go Mo Mo

I don't agree with that at all. I finally got to see good pics of her and biggie smalls posted pics of her resently as well. I honestly do not feel that the lose especially to her face, neck etc is significant enough to be attributed to WLS.  But what however she did it, congrats!

She does look great! I aint hatin even if she did it through surgery or on her own. She has came a long way.

Wonder when she looses weight will she retract her book???

Thanks for sharing the picture off AOL of Monique. I love Monique as well. She's an outgoing person, go getter, funny as hell and careless what others think of her. She's also a business woman...smart business woman. She understands that 63% of Americans are overweight and 31% of us are obese with the number of childhood obesity steadily growing. Her book gave many women and men alike that bit of comfort to at least get some folks out of the house that had trapped themselves in for many reasons that we see on the OH Board. Deep down inside, I believe Monique knows and understands that being over weight and obese is not healthy living but she found a way to maintain her career without feeling inferior to any other actress, comedian out there. I believe her goal was to make people feel comfortable (self esteem) with in their own body. I have also ready people on the board who has lost a great amount of wieght but still feel fat...but it's in their mind. Thats why the psych eval plays an important part of the wls preparation as well. Some do fine with the change and others just develope other issues.

Hoever, Monique is okay in my book and she's a genuine person. I do think by looking at the pics that she's had some type of weight loss intervention but she looks awesome!!!! She already had the attitude and the presence...I can't wait to see her smaller!!! 

Congrats to Monique and all others who have taken that step for change and made the choice to live a healthier life.

Monique was in Essence a few months ago. She said she was loosing weight for health reasons. She was diagnosed with Diabetes and she wants to be around her boys and husbands. I have not seen her lately but if she had surgery good for her. Lets move down there is always room in losers bench!!

I don't know if she had surgery, but I think she has slimmed down some and looks good.
