Male/Female privacy
all but one of my aces who are moms have girls, including me, but the girlfriend with a son (he's 9) feels like i do: wouldn't have any problem or awkwardness taking my baby to a barber shop because it's NECESSARY. i'd understand the discomfort, it's *their* domain. the only thing that would discourage me (the same thing that discourages her) is that barbershops have an atmosphere that isn't (and isn't meant to be) geared towards children and i think it's sad that a bunch of grown folks who know better can'****ch their mouth for an hour. not man bashing, same is true for beauty parlors, i take my daughter to places where they don't speak english LOL.
1. Should men have a place to go where no women are allowed? not as *rule* but anyplace where men have the opportunity to talk honestly with each other because we're not around is a good thing. they don't ordinarily look for opportunities to bond so any positive experience that black men have together, yeah don't mess with that, leave em alone long enough they might be able to solve some shyt.
2. Should women have a place to go where no men are allowed? again no rule. yes but for different reasons (cuz outside of church i can't think of the cir****tance that would make a woman hesitate to say what's on her mind). it depends on where you are but sometimes a dude's presence can shut down the experience. all that bass in his voice and those heavy ass footsteps are fine at home but try feeling peaceful and serene at the massage parlor while he loud talking bout how long this is gonna take? LMAO!!
3. If a man came up in the beauty parlor/hair salon/whatever with his wife would women feel funny that he's in there? not at all, i'd be pumpin my fist that he felt comfortable enough to be there and pumpin it even higher if he didn't feel comfortable but got over it long enough to hang out with his wife. i just like any demonstration that couples are also friends. p.s. i think it would make the women more likely to talk honestly almost like daring him not to get into the conversation. hayle, help out and go on a church dinner run.

wait, are you serious? um, because at 9 you shouldn't know how any curse words, they'll run up on you soon enough ya dayum future orange jumpsuit wearin mofo. couple things 1) adults can control their actions (in theory) you don't hafta talk any kinda way 2) it's not *natural* to curse, i'm not putting it down, i'm saying you weren't born with it. it's natural for kids to be kids and in conclusion :) 3) you don't hafta go where they are but until the recent pop up of kids barber shops, they have to go where you are to get their hair cut. b climbs down of soapbox.
