i take it the bbshop you go to is ran by men and there are NO female barbers?

the bbshop my son goes to has both men and women barbers so going there isn't  uncomfortable

same with the hairsalons there are men stylist and no they are not all gay....so there is no separation..maybe it is a cali thing don't know....

i went to a "sisterhood luncheon" this past weekend and being that was the title i assumed it was a gathering for just women, wrong....a few brothas showed up....to me i asked the question "why" but oh well, they were treated  just the same.  however, i don't think that i would attend a luncheon that was titled "brotherhood mens luncheon" but, hey that is my choice right? too each it own...

personally, i make it comfortable wherever i go whether it is predominately women or men period.

as far as women gathering together and there is cattiness that is so NOT the case...women gather together all over the world to make a difference and it doesn't end up with grown women at each others throat, gossiping, backstabbing and what not....so please look at it on a larger view and not lump all women in the same group.....woo wee let me get back to work

Nah...  They have shops like that out here.  I know one down in PG County in Maryland that was that way.  But the sisters were downstairs and the brothas were upstairs.  Still a seperation though.

I went to a brotha hood lunch that had women.  They stripped and gyrated, while we had lunch.  It was great.

You must have magic powers or lots of money.  Which is it?

You must have magic powers or lots of money.  Which is it?Neither, why would either have to do with me being comfortable with the situation that presents itself?
