Well I was discharged from the hospital yesterday and I have to concur with Big Sam on this one. I feel like I have been hit by a mack truck.  LOL. I had a brief problem with the pain meds. They made my tongue and mouth swell up so no more pain meds for me . I want to sincerely thank everyone in BAF who sent me well wishes and prayers. I won't name names here. You know who you are and I sincerly from the bottom of my heart thank you. Even though my mom was the only person who was physically there with me while I went through surgery. I felt as though I had the hugest support group behind me rooting me on. Never have I realized how invaluable that support was until I lay on that table on Monday. So once again Thank you very much. I am tired. I was out shopping in the stores today getting my walking and water in so its definately time for me to nap. So till next time...

We've went through alot of our PreOp Prep together so I feel like I was there with you and when I'm on the table, you'll be with me.  Yeah I love the support on here.

Glad to see you went thru surgery safely.  Did you try talking to your doc about a different pain med?  I'd hate to think you're in pain when there's some good stuff out there if you need it.

Have a speedy recovery.

Welcome home!  I found out I was allergic to morphine after my surgery.  They can switch you to something else.  I can't imagine going through that without anything.
