What excuses are YOU using NOT to exercise?????
And the tool will work for you - in the beginning. After the first 2 years or so, your body is basically back to normal and you will either have to follow a VERY strict eating plan to maintain OR you need to get up, get out, and move your butt!!!
I've heard a zillion excuses for not exercising - sorry sistas, I gotta do this.... ESPECIALLY from my sistas...
'I don't want to sweat too much, I just got my perm done'
'I spend so much time with my kids, I don't have time for me'
'I don't like going to a gym with all those people there'
'I just don't like exercising'
Every time I hear these, I ask the same, simple question - When was the last time you got your hair/nails done? Guys - When was the last time you skipped the barber shop?
We take the time to take pride in our appearance from a grooming perspective - why o WHY, then, are we not just as vigilant about taking care of our appearance from a HEALTH perspective?
So - my challenge to you is to MAKE time just like you make time for LOOKING good - to the exercise you need to do to FEEL the way you LOOK.
And sqaush the gym excuse! LOL - you don't have to be a gym rat to exercise - there's the great outdoors, plenty of exercise DVDs and books - so figure out what works for you, just like you flip through hairstyle books at the beauty shop to find your next 'do!!! LOL Make an appointment with yourself - exercise is YOUR time - MAKE the time and MAKE it count!!!!!

My number one excuse was.... I dont have someone to watch the kids!! Well thats no more. I joined the YMCA on wednesday and they have daycare for the family plan, so we can ALL go work out!! Doing water aerobics!! That is NO JOKE!!! Here i was, thinking i was just gonna be splashing around in the water....MAN when i got out the water, my whole body was screaming!! But i had a BLAST!! Will be going back today!!

I'm still too heavy to work out without irritating an old knee injury.
I'm juggling two jobs-I don't have the time.
I'm simply tired.
My job has me on my feet and doing lots of walking, that counts, right?
I walk my two dogs at least twice a day, doesn't that count?
I can only focus on revamping my life one step at a time, I'm finally getting a handle on eating right...

I feel you on the tired tip - BUT - you really saying you don't have 10-20 min to do yoga type stretching, a lil core work with situps, leg lifts and a set of squats? You could do all that standing next to your bed.......

I'm not saying the dogs get walked far, but we do make it out a few times a day. Time management ain't my strongest suit so I find sleeping those last few minutes to be more important.
Gotta go its time to WALK the dogs... LOL
