I feel you - however - the things being said today are the same things that were being said when *I* came to BAF four years ago - they were talking about how things USED to be, who they missed and how the new folk ain't know what was really going on.
I got my azz capped quite a few times - BUT - nobody on here ever said anything to me to LIE and make me unsuccessful - what folk seem to think is that old heads gotta be cooler heads by definition - do we OWE that to anybody? perhaps, however, as a new person, don't you also owe a little humilty?
And how come it is (yea, I meant to say it that way) that these dust ups seem to be treated as if we ought to know better and be better - we are the same mofos we are in real life, right? still people, folk, persons - trying to sort out the game of life and MAYBE get a few things right every now and then.
Not defending anything on either side - just sayin.
