All I'm suggesting is reply in kind.  if a person comes back sideways after asking a question, one can either ignore the effed up reply or keep it going.

I have in the past done both..I ain't proud of going back and forth with certain people on here, but I did...immature, I think, for sure, but I did it.

I said that to say that even if the reply is harsh/nice, maybe that has more to do with the person who is making the comment and where THEY are coming from.

I remember the instance when I got jumped on in here and for awhile was a bit gun-shy.   My thing was, eventually to say to myself just deal with this like I would in real life.  I pick my responses based on how the person comes at me and will also chose whether to deal with them on the backline or the front; whether to escalate it or not.

I have to ask why are you trying these things in the first place? Why are you trying to sabotage your WLS already?

The responses one might get may very well depend on the ask. In some ways, there is a fine line between asking for support and asking for a scolding. While some people may respond better to coddling, some may respond better to a "spankin".

Should an "I'm learning question" get handled with kid gloves or the cold hard truth (as perceived by YOUR individual journey)?

Should an "I ****** up" get understanding (since many of us have at some point) or a beat down?

It's hard to make that call sometimes if you don't know your audience.
