Calling out Dalexis, Birdman D and any other man that cares to answer

Just curious...why would you choose to SABOTAGE the sanctity of a post that was genuinely meant to impart some sense of comradery between BAFers, and more specifically woman BAFers.  I am a little perplexed particularly since Dalexis, you yourself, asked the question...where is the sisterhood..the love..the other day. I can tell you (Birdman) were joking by putting in the mud wrestling pic in...and believe me I am not mad...more curious than anything else.  I would just think that you would have just sat back and let the women have their moment if you did not want to participate in a legitimate way.  I mean do you only look at woman as sex objects...or toys for your entertainment. That all I ever see blasted all over this board...mainly from the men....sex, sex, sex.  I mean I know that its part of your make up....but when do men dig deeper.  Just a question....  I was serious and sincere in making my post...but perhaps...you did not see it that way.  Just want to get into the mindset of a man right now.....because to be honest....the majority of the issues we as woman have...usually have a man at the center.  Please enlighten me.

The board was getting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too intense and it was nothing more than touch of levity.    Not only do I NOT look at women as merely sex objects, sometimes I think I may put some up on a pedestal higher than they put themselves. 

Yes, I saw your posts as serious.  Now, If you read my posts, you KNOW that my posts are not about sex sex and more sex.

Yes...I agree and I have read your posts and I do see that you have more depth in your writings....but for the life of me...I just could not understand (considering you seem to be a very intuitive person)...why you would think that was funny....add levity in that particular message...hence my confusion. As far as the sex....I was speaking about the general tone of the MEN on here...you don't have to own it all...only your share.  So in short are you saying " Mea Culpa"? 

In short, I am apologizing for my insensitivity. 

Again, had I known it was strictly a female bonding moment, I would not have posted. 

I will endeavor to show less levity and more seriousness in the future. 

By the way, what exactly is the general tone of men in here?  I"m curious.

Well my own personal perception is that there aren't many posts that go by that does not have either blatant sexual content or sexual innuendos of some sort....mostly initiated by the men...now...I was only concerned about this particular post because...I personally viewed it as serious...since we , I know I took it to heart, were paying homage to people who have not made it on this journey... When I have seen this behavior in the past  I have just kept on rolling...and to be honest I really felt guilty because I played right along with one of the sex game (ended up deleting my message because I was embarrassed for myself).  I do say to each his own...what floats for one ...might not float for another.  I just think that I was sort of offended in this case because it was a post that I started....maybe I was being over sensitive...but its how I felt at the time.

I just need to say....since I did go back and read...the previous posts ( since I was a little perplexed at Kim B saying that my post was a kick off from the last )...I did not see the connection....but I now see how she would say what she said BUT....you got to believe that I had not even read the exchange between you and Ro until now. My message had absolutely nothing to do with that exchange.  I was simply responding to my post.  SWEAR.  Now...with that said...I am not going to post anything else for the next day or so...I really want to move on.

You know it was not just meant for BAF women...but thats all who were logged in at the moment. I am sure you saw the general flow of the message...your input did not add levity ..if anything it made the whole thing a joke.  Oh well, I will chaulk this one of as a missed opportunity to build that rapport that was spoke so much about earlier.   

My apologies for calling you out on the FL too D! I guess I could have been a little bit more sensitive to that fact as well. I can count on one hand the number of times I have used the BL...so it was not even a thought.  Again ...I was curious...asked the question...and got my answer. Thanks
