BMI Chart-Should It be Revised??
My goal is to get down to around 195 lbs. I calculated my BMI for that weight and I'll still be over weight. I'll have to get down to around 180 just to break the "normal" range and even then I'll be at the very top of the normal range, just barely in it.
Last time I was that weight was coming out of Marine Corps boot camp about 16 years ago and people thought I looked crazy at that weight back then (had lost 30 lbs). So, I don't think I'm gonna worry about what the BMI chart has to say. I think I'll be okay within the "overweight" range as long as I'm eating healthy and exercising
. Besides, I think they need to revise that chart anyhow.
Oh, and the wife forbids me getting that low also. Anybody else say the hell with the BMI chart or at least think it should be revised?
