GATEWAY TO 8K,..WEEK 1 COMPLETE.. COUCH to 5K.. WHERE YALL AT??

You can have that Ultramarathon I'm sooo not interested. 

Don't you just love the nike plus.   I was trying to get to a 10 minute mile, but my knees don't like when I run that fast so i'm going to stick with 11 minute plus.  I actually don't care about the speed.  I care more about the distance or the fact that I can do it.   If I start getting to caught up in numbers it will become an obsession with me and when I get osbsessed I get a bit wacko.

I actually don't think I want to run any further than a 8K which is 5 miles,   I am getting close to 5 miles now and once I hit it that is where I will stay.  I don't think I will increase my milage but who knows when I get there I may change my mind.

i am hoping 2 keep improving my pace and distance. i would like 2 start competing. i would love 2 compete in a triathalon, too.

If you have it in your to do distance I think you should, and to compete that would be awesome.   I can't even imagine a triathalon,  I honestly think i'm to lazy. 

Were you a runner before Andrea?   This running stuff is all brand new to me and i'm still trying to figure it all out if I like it or not.  I can say I like what it does for the body in fat loss,  but not the knees.  lol
