Huge Doubts
I spoke to a friend and they told me to make a pro and cons list which I did but weighing it out the pros win but I am still having trouble getting over these jitters.
Pros-
healthy weight
healthy life
smaller normal sized clothes that I don't have to pay extra for
prob look better (but hell i think i look good now)
not worry about breaking anything or not being able to fit into anything
be able to run and play with my nephews or even excersize without getting out of breath
Cons-
Dumping forever
No more sweets or fast food
Sagging skin
No more tits or booty (I actually like the size of them now)
Losing hair
Vitamins forever
Now looking this over many times, my pros do outweight my cons and the majority of my cons are superficial and stuff I shouldn't worry about, but I can't help it. Is this all going to be worth while if I don't feel confident in my own skin...or should i say excess skin anymore. I am very confident with myself but I know I am not healthy. I just want to be able to eat my cake and have it to, but thats not an option.
So can someone please help me rationalize these doubts before I lose my freaking mind or make a huge mistake. And I am trying to rest my fears in the hands of God but its hard.

your friend took my idea...the pros/cons list is a good thing to do.
now, lets look at your cons list.
-not everyone dumps.
-some people enjoy both sweets & fast food if they're selective about what they eat and only eat a little
-the skin thing might not affect you....or it might not be as bad as you think
-you just might keep the T&A....in fact, i pray you do

-not everyone loses hair
-if you're like alot of us, you took pills before surgery so the vitamins just replaced the blood pressure/cholesterol/diabetes pills.
this decision is a personal one. truthfully, all the responses to all the posts in the world aint gonna matter if you can't wrap your own brain around this. even people who went into it fully convinced find themselves at times wondering "what the heck did i do to mysely". so i can't imagine how it is if you go into it with reservations.
you got some soul searchin to do. hopefully we can help.
You may or may not dump -Some people never dump, I am almost seven years out and may dump once a month.
Sweets or not forever. I can eat any sweets out there, I just choose to do it in moderation (maybe twice a month)
I promise I can eat any fast-food I want (burgers, fries, etc) however, I choose to do that in moderation.
Everybody do not have saggy skin, I choose to have a tummy tuck simply because I have never in my life ever have a flat tummy. My legs and arms are firm.
My breast went from a 40dd to 38d look at my <<<<
Everybody do not lose hair I have some shedding but was not noticeable enough to go out an buy a wig.
Vitamins are NEVER a bad thing.
Again you can post million times but at the end of the day only you can make that decision!!
Much love!!

Its only natural to have fear, doubts about this. After all, this is major surgery and you are going into unknown territory. Most of us have gone through this. I know I can.
Your pros are valid. Lets look at ur Cons
Cons-
Dumping forever- if you look at people's posts, you can see that there are different degrees of dumping. Me, for example, while I do get stomach cramps depending on what I eat, I don't have many of the other "classic" symptoms. Some people don't seem to have any. Luck bastids. lol
No more sweets or fast food- not having sweets or fast foods (though, honestly, its not "forever", but u may figure that out on ur own in time) isn't necessarily a bad thing. I know for me, fast foods is what got me to nearly 400 lbs before I even started researching the surgery.
Sagging skin-yeah, that can't be helped, but then again, there are those on here who had had plastics and look great.
No more tits or booty (I actually like the size of them now)- because everyone is different, there is no guarantee you will become booty-less or a member of the IBTC. Hell, I've known some post-op who were QUITE bootilicious. :)
Losing hair-I haven't lost any (wait, i shave my head bald. lol) but, there are those who have said on different posts that the hair loss may be a vitamin deficiency.
Vitamins forever- Your body need vitamins, anyway. Only difference is that you have to suppliment it now.
Babe, you will be fine. Like I said before, its only natural to be afraid. I was scared to death up until a couple days before my date. My thing was to put everything in God's hands and just KNOW all was gonna be okay.
You'll be fine. Just trust in the Almighty. :)
