Hmmmm - chile - I feel so old in this game.

ALTHOUGH - I will say that I think us old heads had it REALER and HARDER - yea - I SAID it!  LOL  Nowdays there's so many products and services available JUST for WLS patients - hell - two years after my surgery they opened up a facility here in town that's like a damn HOTEL for WLS patients.... I had what felt like the left over psych ward for mine.  LOL

before you had surgery, did you have any expectations for yourself?

have you met them?

you didn't pose this to me, but imma answer anyway.......

i expected to lose down to the low 200's.  Then I got below 200 and I was shocked.  I never expected to wear anything smaller than a 14 after surgery and I am in 10/12 now - once I complete my plastics at the end of this month, I hope to be back in my 8s that I had a year ago.......

As for my other expectations, I have met them - I fully expected to keep off what I lost and I commit EVERYDAY to making sure I honor the tool I have and the new life I have been given a chance to lead.

I really didn't have expectations per se....Like Mack I thought at a size 14 I was "cool"....once I got smaller than that, the everything changed...now I am on a mission to get back down to my lowest weight

In the beginning I was so guilty of comparing myself to others and particuarally those dam before and after pics.  Now a days I always look at others and think i'm fatter than everyone,  i'm such a head case.

I hate that losing weight takes so long, and then the newbies get on and say I lost bla bla and they are smaller than I am and I had surgery 3 dam years ago.   I am happy for them but I think **** I should be smaller.   WAAAAA WAAAAA.

Oh this weight loss game is one of ups and downs and one of joy and tourment, and one I wish I could rid myself of.
