It was never all you - you've always had help.......

No king achieves a victory with a large army. No warrior rescues himself by his own great strength.  Horses are not a guarantee for victory. Their great strength cannot help someone escape.The LORD's eyes are on those who fear him, on those who wait with hope for his mercy to rescue their souls from death and keep them alive during a famine. 

We wait for the LORD. He is our help and our shield.In him our hearts find joy. In his holy name we trust.Let your mercy rest on us, O LORD, since we wait with hope for you. Psalm 33:16-22

Lots of us are planners - we look at situations and figure out how to make them work.  When we have problems, we figure out solutions and set about the task of making our problems go away.  The bigger the problem, the more we plan.  Most of the time we get what we intend with our plans and sometimes get even more than we were shooting for.  Those moments are when we sometimes REALLY forget who we need to thank- not the man in the natural - but the SUPERNATURAL man. 

Not a single thing happens that suprises God.  Nothing happens that he hasn't planned, that he doesn't see coming - that he doesn't KNOW has a purpose for you.  We all pray in our darkest hour - when the sun shines and the battle is won and you are a victor and not a victim - are you just as prayerful?  When's the last time you sat and thanked God for all you have TODAY and didn't ask about tomorrow?  If it hasn't been done today - THANK him today.  HE has brought you this far - you have NEVER been alone.

this side has been here for a long time - I had just really been struggling in my faith for a while.  I used to post these everyday a little over a year ago - then I lost a bit of my way and hadn't done them in a long time.

I am glad to be moved back to doing them - but don't worry - I'm still a sinner on my BEST day so you ain't alone!!!!!  LOL 

Well its good to know I've got somebody to ride shotgun on the ride to hell with me.
