Doc said other than the obvious obesity, I have very low risk and should do well. He told me to stop worrying, as long as I follow the program, pickiness and all, I'll be fine. He was walking out and said I needed to have faith in myself that I can do it. He said I can see you want it and determined, that he didn't think I doubted the surgery, just myself. He again reassured me.

I shrunk!!!!

From 5"6 to 5'5 1/4". Sigh... on a good note, I lost 5 lbs since I saw my PCP on 4/7 (the lovely

Adipex)...

Sooo... already has almost all my appointments scheduled - see NUT next week. Just gotta get my PCP scheduled when I see him week after next. Started exercising... . Oh, need to find a pyschologist...wonder why I've procrastinated on that one??? Hmmmm....

My friend/coworker asked if I was excited...I hunched my shoulders... but I smiled.. I told her I know how I get when I get overexcited, so just trying to chill out, ya know??

That soooo exciting!!!!!All that Adipex did for me was give me dry mouth and raise my blood pressure.

But I feel you with the getting excited part because my friends are more excited than am and I get more excited for other people...Go figure!!!!

My pressure actually went down... (I don't have HBP, but 120/80 is high for me - back down to 112/68.)

Yeah, my friend/coworker is excited, b/c she's using me as the guinea pig. Plus since I have no fam out here, she's gonna take off of work on surgery day and come stay w/ me for a week or two (told her I'll be ok, but... lol.. at least she's willing...)

I wish I would have had it those first few days.. I am so happy for you it will hit a few hors before though.

she was going to stay the whole time I was out, lol... (well, at least the 2 weeks). Tried to warn her, lol... and she knows how I can be, but God bless her!! Plus she said if she's bold enough next year, I can return the favor, lol!
