A WOW MOMENT I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE!!!

I had a little wow moment I thought I would share.  I had RNY 14 months ago, lost 112lbs so far.  I work for State Dept. of  Corrections Psych Headquarters.  A couple days ago one of the Doctors I work for but haven't seen in 6 months come in.  I was sitting at my desk, got new glasses on and she reaches her hand out to introduce herself..."hi, I'm Dr. Eskridge"  I said, I know you I am Val...she took her glasses out and choked on her spit,,,Val?  Oh my God, I didn't recognize you!!! You don't even look like you!!!  

I can tell you how good that made me feel.  I was discouraged because I passed my year and wasn't under 150lbs...I forgot how far I've come.  This was truly a wow moment for me and a reminder to be thankful for this opportunity God has given me to get my life back.  Stay encouraged family and work that pouch!!!

Congratulations Val!!! Its OK to have goals but don't forget how far you've come!
