Mother's day dinner shout out - you BET not be doing the cooking!!!!

LOL - it's Mother's Day, and I sincerely hope all of us with children get to REST today and not slave over the stove - I know I'm NOT!!!!!  LOL

I made turkey spaghetti last night so it's microwave night tonight - my only order of business for today is CHILLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So - instead of what are YOU cooking - feel free to list what your peeps are cooking FOR you!!! 

No hot stove for me....I am taking my mom out for dinner. Have a good one!

Okay I actually did cook this morning Trina lol lol - I had overnight guest  and I made italian sausage with onions and peppers with spicy spaghetti sauce & topped with mozarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheese with rigatoni pasta.  I also did some brussell sprouts and garlic dinner rolls.  Yes girl been  up since 8am cooking lol lol - But don't worry I do plan to enjoy my day - I did that  for my guest because they will be here while I go to church this morning and to Ruby Tuesdays afterwards for dinner with baby girl - so I just fixed a lil something for them to have for lunch or dinner.    Speaking of babygirl, my baby blessed me with a pair of earrings, 2 rings and a purse for mothers day yesterday while we were out shopping.  We had so much fun shopping and doing the mommy/daughter thing, started out at 8am went to a family breakfast at Golden Coral, afterwards to the mall, then to several other stores and we both got our hair done yesterday.  Then my baby gave me a pedicure and hooked my toes up with a cute little flower design.  So I am having a blessed weekend and plan to enjoy my Mothers Day today.  I hope you & all the BAF mom's have a great one!

Hey lady!  Whew - you are sooooo much better than me - cause I ain't get up and fix SHIOT but my cup of coffee!!!!  LMAO

We just got back from the weekly Wal Mart run and I am BACK to chillin!!!!  About to find some mindless TV to look at for the next couple of hours before I head over to my mom's to give her flowers and a card - then back home and......... you guessed it - MO CHILLIN!!!!!  hahahhahahaha

I put a pork roast and veggies in the crockpot.  Otherwise I've been very slug like today.

Hubby is taking me out for Hibachi, since that is something I can tolerate. We are going to see the moie next day air then out for a drink. Scared of that I onl had a little bit of wine since surgery and that was at the Meet N Greet in DC.. Felt that so fast it wasnt funny, He probably is just doing that just to get a little bit tonight, get me drink and hae his way with me..

Since I didn't birth any babies I'm on cooking duty today but my brother is doing the grilling. He grilled chicken wings, and drumsticks, turkey burgers and turkey hot links. I'm just making mac-n-cheese, corn cobbettes and hush puppies. I made pole beans and lemon blossoms yesterday. Damn shame how good those things are, just yummilicious.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. Whether you gave birth or are a mother by heart *like me*, I honor and appreciate all of you all.

stayed up until 1 this morning BBQing and making side dishes.  Got up this morning and went to church with mom and the kids then came home and ate and watched the Rockets beat up on the Lakers.  I guess my daughter call herself contributing by bringing over her little side dish.  That's not what I told her to bring!  I told her to bring drinks and dessert!  So, she proceeds to take MY car then calls me from the store talking about, "what's your PIN #"!  She was using my debit card so I actually cooked and paid for the entire dinner today! 

I cooked for my Moms today. I cooked ribs, greens, sweet potatoes, spaghetti and some corn bread. I'm leaving their home so that I can slide in the jacuzzi and let the soothing waters take me away.

Hey #1 Momma!
Girl...I had the BEST Mother's Day ever! I did NOT attend church today - for some reason, I didn't feel like going..wait, I haven't been since Easter!

So, this morning, my youngest son and his wife cooked breakfast at their place and BROUGHT IT TO ME - still hot!  They fixed sausage, turkey bacon, eggs (just the way I like them, sauteed onions and green peppers), grits and biscuits...very good (what I could eat of it).

After that, my oldest came and picked me up and took me out to the mall for a little shopping - we had a great time there, although I was only there for about an hour (my ankle wasn't feeling the walking too tough).

We then went over to my youngest son's and hung out there - that's when the REAL fun began! Daniel is a music aficianado and hooked up a lot of my favorite songs for me, downloaded them to my phone...His children were with him (he went and got his babies and kept them, allowing their moms to enjoy their day). 

I am now home...haven't eaten since breakfast...and yes, I am fixing myself dinner...just broiling some fish and fixing a spinach salad...and then...BED!
