Protein Protein Protein

I'm going to try that Nectar ish and see how I do with that.
So my question is what's working for you to ensure you're getting it in?
I'm sure the vets can l help you better than I can but I've sampled a few things since my day is coming soon.
Unjury vanilla - I mixed it with ff milk and it tasted like a vanilla shake but it smells like stinky feet.
Nectar strawberry-kiwi - I mixed it with water. It was OK but I think it would have been better with the ff milk. It doesn't smell as bad as the unjury but it was still a little funky.
Isopoure plus Alpine Punch - The best one I've had so far....not thick at all, a little sweet though.
Be careful of those protein shots. I have read very mixed opinions about the quality of the protein they contain. Some say that they are not good for bariatric patients because they are collagen based protein while others say they have used them regularly and have no problem with their protein levels. My nut. advises against them and says that products with whey protein isolate are the best.
Good Luck!
They are $45.90 for 12 vials, plus you get 2 for free.
Regarding the question as to whether they are good for you or not....Kim is right, some say they aren't a good source of protein. * I * used them a lot as a newbie and never had a problem. They are so convenient when you are on the run. A little to expensive for me to use on the regular though.
I also only drink half at one time because our bodies only absorb so much protein at a time. They come in 40 something and 20 something grams per vial. Mixed with a little water or sf flavored water they taste better.

The products that really worked for me at that stage were the Protidiet products I would get from my NUT. They had all kinds of juice mixes that I would just add to water. So they weren't thick and hard to digest. I saw this link so they can be purchased online. I would suggest you check with your NUT first though.
