If you use the right protein shots that is not collagen based, then mix it with water and drink it like that. I would order samples from vitalady.com and mix my protein drinks. I would mix like a Carribean Cooler or Lemonade Flavor or Twisted Cherry from Nectar and would mix it with water and about  1/3 to 1/2 tube of Crystal lite or Walmart brand of sf drink mixes. Become a professional mixologist !!!!!  Do not mix a big batch at a time but just about 4-6 ozs at a time. I even add chocolate protein powder to hot chocolate but you can't add protein powder to hot drinks automatically or it will clump. First add a little water to protein powder and mix into a paste to remove clumps and then add to hot drinks.  I hope this helps and if you have any questions, just let me know.

Hey Juice!!!
Glad you are well!
I've tried lots of the proteins....some way to thick, some too sweet, some just plain ole nasty...

but the one I rock with is UNJURY - I have choc, strawberry sorbet, vanilla and unflavored...there is 28g of protein in a scoop...its good to me...you can send away for their trial packets if you're not sure you will like...I love them! www.unjury.com.

Keep up the good work!

I use the fuzzy navel protein powder (26g), skim milk (8g**** yogurt and any fuit of my choice. Usually bananas because of the potassium. Put it in the blender and whola! You have a tasty shake....sometimes I include Splenda

Or.....yogur****er and protein powder......the more water the thinner the shake

Or.....just yogurt with protein powder....

Hope that helps

Juice, congreazy for sheezy on your initial loss. Lookin good Bro.

I haven't tried it yet but talk on the DS board is that the Isopure zero carb (unflavored) is good.  Apparently it mixes well and because it is virtually tasteless, the taste is easily masked.  I plan to mix in my morning cup-o-decaf.

Can't find it in any of the GNC's locally.  Guess I'll E-buy it.

chikenutrition.com- sample of 5 for $3.00-  This is the bidness.  Their shakes are smooth and creamy.  But way over my budget.

syntrax, nectar samples 11 for $10.  Some of them were good.  I found them at Vitamin Shoppe for about $28.  I loved Crystal Skye, Roadside Lemonade, and Ice tea

Walmart- body fortress chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream and strawberry- 2lbs for $15.  i mix mines with DiVinci's SF caramel, Kaulau, Hazelnut and French vanilla.  These cost $3.99 at Walmart.  Body fortress can be gritty, so I let it set for 20 minutes and reshake.

Hope that helps a little.

I love Nectar and Unjury products hands down!

I've used the Nectar since my pre-op days, and the Unjury is a new discovery, but I really like it.

Also, when I'm feeling cheap...I get the Body Fortress from WalMart.
