Hey Family....I need some info!

hey Philly Diva..I went to CT with the hubby a few weeks ago for birthday weekend. We stayed in New Haven,  CT the first night since thats where my husband's family lives. Like most have said honestly..not much to do around the New haven area. The next night there we stayed in Jamaica, NY where we hit up the garment district..MUCH shopping dear. From there we headed to Manhattan for a dinner cruise. So one major perk of CT is that it is sooooo close to New York, which of course is a MECCA! On the New Haven end you can get to Manhattan in like 45mins!

Thank you for the info....that's actually my plan, to be as close to NY as possible
