hello baf

i looked at the calendar and realized i had my surgery 5 yrs ago even though i rec'd a revision as a bonus last aug when i had my gallbladder and appendix removed.

i asked myself "would i do it again?" looking in the mirror "yes" the outer physical appearance but for the internal issues I would probably say "no" but, that is only because my journey has been extremely rough the past three years.  but, then i thought if i hadn't had this surgery i wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet some awesome and beautiful people here on baf.  i have lost weight and gained great friendship here i wouldn't trade that.

last week many of you prayed for me and i want to say "thank you and please continue to do so" as i am in for the fight of my life so to speak....nothing to do with my wls .....physically i am mending ....emotionally....i am damaged and here is where i welcome your prayers.

many of you have text me and called me last week when you learned of my situation however, please forgive me if i don't respond as reaching out is a stretch for me so please don't take it personal

newbies all i can say is do your research....get a support system ..get your mind right .and i wish you much success.

post ops....wishing each and everyone of you the continued success and if you have fallen of the wagon please go back to the beginning of your journey and start there again.

much love,

lavender

Lavy LAV!!!!!  Loves you MUCH baby!!!!!!

That's why it's called a journey and not a cakewalk, I guess - I have no answers for why we face the trials we do - some tests seem too great to be passed.

My heart, love and prayers are with you.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Happy surgiversary to you!

You have come so far and inspire the rest of us that we can make it on our journey, so hang in there! You'll be stronger on the other side of your trials!

Know that you are not alone and that this may be the very time the Lord is carrying you instead of walking with you. Lean on Him and continue to rejoice through it!

Big (((((hugs))))) and many prayers for you!

Happy surgiversary to you!

Is that even a word [surgiversary] or is that something that was made up on BAF?  One can never really tell these days.  Oh well....    at any rate, enjoy your rebirth.
