I am debating on whether to bring my girls, ages 6 & 11 to the Meet and Greet. Now I know all are welcome but the question I had is whether there were others who plan to bring their kids? I see that there is a lot of free time scheduled...thinking perhaps that we could do come kid friendly activities during that time. Just putting my feelers out so that I can make my final decision about bringing them. Thanks. Lisa
ETA:
FYI...My kids travel with me all the time...so I am comfortable with them being in the room watching pp view movies during the more adult oriented activities in the hotel. They know how to latch and call. They do have relatives on their father's side in Brooklyn so I might hook that up as well. I will be considerate of others by not being one of those parents that has to have their kids involved in everything. As it stand, I am having a hard time arranging for babysitting since my Mom and their dad have other plans that weekend.
These girls are what keep me going everyday....they are the air I breathe.

Thanks Kim,
They are as opposite as night and day. My oldest, Jamaica, is very mellow yet sociable, likes to involve herself in many activities. Shes an honor student and just made honors orchestra with her violin. I am so proud of her. I am proud of my youngest too. Her name is Sierra. Now this girl looks sweet on the "pitcher".....BUT don't let the "pitcher" fool you! Very independent and head strong....want to do it all for HERSELF...from picking out her clothes to making her own breakfast.(with my assist of course)..to just about everything else. Oh and she THINKS shes the big sista! They do go at it from time to time....trying to figure out their roles! They are very good girls though....my hearts.

Thanks so much Phyll,
Yes...it is definitely scary....but I am going to do my best to ground them in good morals so that hopefully they will do the right thing as they grow older. I am also teaching them at this age about ways to keep out of dangerous situations. Its hard....trying to cover all my bases...but also let them be kids without too much worry. Would love to see some pics of that grandbaby. Take care. Lisa

When my son left to go off to college in 03, I just let myself go, I was by my self and eating like it was no tomorrow !! I was approved for wls in 05, being the chicken that I am, did not go through with it.
Lost 130 pounds and fast forward, to 2008, I am regaining again, and this time time, I do not meet the bmi insurance criteria, and I now I have to self-pay for my surgery.
In any event, it was the best thing I could have done.
Thanks for all your continued support :)
