The life-cycle of a butterfly is a remarkable series of changes between seemingly very different forms culminating in the emergence of a butterfly. Throughout nature there are fantastic and fascinating occurrences of many kinds. The metamorphosis of an egg to a butterfly is just one of God's wonders. Our life is much the same. When we are just the egg we are often go unnoticed, then the caterpillar stage takes us to the crawly point when we feel not only ignored, but stepped on. Then we enter the cocoon. At first we wonder does anyone care that I have withdrawn? Then we second guess ourselves asking why am I in here, what is the purpose of all this? Then the day comes when we begin to slowly emerge from our covered space. While hidden from the eyes of the world God has changed who we once were. Now the world sees our outer beauty in a different way than before, but most important is we now see the changes we have made from the inside out. Oh what a beautiful butterfly you are, now watch the world admire you from near and afar.
