"She used to be big"

Why do folk feel compelled to tell others that didn’t know me pre WLS that “she used to be big".  I do not hide the fact that I had weight loss surgery and don’t mind anyone knowing or asking questions, but damn it let me tell them.   When I was big, none of those MF’ers ever said “you know she used to be slim and in great shape". It’s not like I have been big all my life just within the past 10 years prior to WLS.   The people who most feel it necessary to blurt out the fact that I had surgery are the ones who have known me when I was normal sized, fat and now. I had to start asking them why never told anyone “I used to be slim", (while I was fat). They just give a puzzled look, but I think they get the point.   Also, why do folks who know or find out I had WLS want me to be the WLS poster child and convince others that they “need" to do it too". I just tell them that it’s a personal decision for each individual and although it was a great decision for me it may not be for everyone. If someone has questions they can ask me but I am not going to push WLS onto anyone.

I haven't made it to that point yet but I just wanna say that you know people love to point out the negative rather than the positive, you know.  When I reach my goal 90 pounds from now, I will be the first to tell a mo' fo' that I used to be big cause it will be something that I have never been able to say in my life.

 I have already asked my family to stop telling everyone about it.   I won't tell people how I did it unless it is someone that I think may benefit from knowing about it, but I would like to inspire someone else the way so many others have inspired me wether they know about it or not.

I tell people all the time and I have the pictures to show it becuase most cant believe it. Its not that I mind others knowing its just like you said, people love to point out the negative and it gets on my damn nerves.

"Yea - and she used to be smart"
"Yea- and she used to be worth somethin"
"Yea - and she used to have some tact and/or sense"
"Yea - and SHE used to have herpes...... gotta LOVE vaccines these days....medical miracles!!!"



Guess there's no wonder why I don't have many friends, huh?

I may just take your advise but say some **** that is also true about their situation like:

"she used to wear her own hair but now she just keep getting these bad weaves"
 
"her husband used to cheat on her"

"she used to have a house but was foreclosed on"

"she used to be pregnant but got an abortion"

"she used to have a job but her a** got fired"

Now you making me think back to all the MF'ers who said "she used to be big"

and then the fight began...

  Just make sure it's a ***** who's ass you are SURE you can kick - cause you got some serious statements in queue right there!!!!  LMAOOOO
