Revision RNY-Small Bowel Issues

I was told Monday that I would have to have a revision to my RNY because where the small intestine is connect to the bowel is expanding and causing my bowels to twist and do some other things. I have been complaining to my doctor 6 weeks after having the surgery in 07 that something was wrong. After I eat my stomach bloats up like I never lost my stomach. They told me for two years that is was all me. I was able to eat a whole chicken breast six weeks after my surgery. I told the doc that my food slides down and I don't feel full until it hits my small intestine. I really feel that if they took me seriously that I would not be in shape I am in now as far as my bowels I mean. The doc stated he will have to open me up to correct the problem. Once he said open I said what if I just let it go and just live with it. He said no it has to be corrected. The head surgeon had them to call me ASAP after the cat scan results came through. They said it blows up like a balloon and then goes down after the food or liquid passes. The intestine is lapping and folding like it you were to turn your sleeve inside out. I have been absorbing everything. I went from 292 to 183 to get back to 203. This is miserable but I really don't want to be cut on in this way. The only great thing he has told me besides finding out what my problem was is that he will be giving me a tummy tuck. Yea!
Has anyone experienced any issue with thier bowels and had to have it  corrected? I am scared but I know it must me corrected.

Bowel Obstruction in 2005 (3 years post-op at the time). If you are able to sit and type this message thankfully you're not in pain as I was.

I dealt with the pain for a while thinking it was just bad gas, was told if I didn't go to the emergency when I did I would have most likely died.

Went through emergency on a Monday morning, care flighted to Presbyterian of Plano. Seven day hospital stay, four of those days with a wonderful NG Tube inserted for four of those  days. Surgery performed on the third day of hospital stay, fast forward almost four years later I am doing fine.

I will tell anyone that is the worse pain I have ever been had in my life, which is why I felt like my tummy tuck was a cake walk.

FYI ANYTIME you have ANY surgery on your stomach that requires cutting, C-section, etc, you become a candidate for a Bowel Obstruction.

Not referencing you but people RESEARCH, RESEARCH and RESEARCH.

Google was and still is my best friend.

Mrs. Rhonda thanks for the input. This is the first that I will be cut in this way. When he said he will be making this long incision I almost choked. I know the head surgeon at UT Southwestern will do a good job but he clearly told me that I had no choice but to correct it. I just wish they checked this two years ago. I had been in pain and ended up in the ER. I cried like a baby. Now my symptons are getting worse. I have had reflux and heartburn. I asked them how I was to have these problems and I had no stomach. If the doc could have me on the table now he would. About time they called me on Monday at 9:30 they were wanting to see me by 11:30. He had all people ready to get me scheduled. I know this is serious but it is very scary.

Thanks for the support and prayers. I will keep everyone posted. The condition is called intussecption. It is overlapping, blockage and collapsing of the small intestine. They said today that where my small intestine gets no blood that it could die. This is a serious condition. For now I will keep everyone posted.
