The Embarrassment of Weight Gain, What to Do, What to Do
Lee,
You've done the first thing which is to admit to yourself that you will struggle with this issue for the rest of your life. Everybody else should be cake.
Go to your functions with your head held high, and your smile bright as Broadway and enjoy yourself
In life, and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
I gained a few pounds last year (like 15) and when I went home in October for my dads wedding, ALOT of people noticed but they DID say I was too thin before and now I'm at the perfect size and not to lose anymore. Well, I lost 10 pounds in March (got sick) and when I went home this past April...everbody was like "you lost some more weigh since last time, huh"?
Weight is always going to be an issue for us...we just got to do our best to stick with what's right.

I soooo feel you on this Lee!
It seems folks are waiting in the cut to see us gain weight...I was talkin' to one of my ex-managers and she was telling me about someone she knew that had WLS gained weight and is now on her way to losing it...I then asked well how long ago did she have the surgery...whyyyyyyyyyy did that mofo say "back in 2001"?!! Hold up you mean to tell me you have been tracking this person for close to 8 years?!!! GTF!
As much as we might hate it, it is a fact folks are going to watch us and wait. Sucks but it is, what it is *sigh*

Girl you are so right, I have several people in my life that I know are routing for me to gain all my weight back, Becca's mom being #1 on that list.
If someone gave me a dollar for each time I have heard someone say I "I know someone who had that surgery and they gained all that weight back".
******g hawks sitting and waiting for us to fail. ****** me off.
