Being 'fixed up' - Do you trust your friends?????

Question - have you ever been fixed up by one of your friends?  You know what I mean - they have a friend or someone they know is single and think the person is "perfect" for you so they want to fix you up and have you meet them?

Do you trust your friends or family to do this?  *I* have always said that I like to pick my OWN tree to **** under - most of my friends don't REALLY know me - they know the me I let them see.  LOL  So I end up with an equally shady mofo or someone I really don't like because they aren't for the real me at all!!!!

The times I have been fixed up - DISASTERS!!!!  Some of the funniest stories in my life to tell - but no happy endings.  And it ends up making me look at my 'friend' like - WHAT DA HEYL WERE YOU THINKIN??????!!!!

Hell no I don't trust them heffers! LOL.  I feel like you, they know the me that I allow them to see.  We are different with our mates or potentials.  Because I don't party in the clubs don't be trying to hook me up with a high holy roller (nothing against praising him but I don't want to sit and discuss the bible everytime I see ya!).  If they look at the men I dated in the past none of them fit a mold.  There is a unique quality I can spot and others do not have the capability to spot that for me.  I appreciate the effort but save yourself the headache.

Also, I hate when married friends feel the need to get you married too. Marriage is not for everyone. And if/when I am ready I will take that leap.  Don't think I am a leper because the eternal band is not on my finger! The more you gripe about you wish you had taken the time to get to know your hubby, the more I am thankful that I am taking my time to find the one for me.

I so feel you on the married mofos - I got a girlfriend who USED to be on the single scene with me and did the game HARDER than ME!  Now she's married and tries to fix me up a couple times a year - and ain't nary one my 'type'....... LOL  

I don't want my friends hooking me up because all of my friends are huge with really really huge friends.  

I'm not trying to be dealing with no more fat chicks because no matter how they shower and scrub that **** just ain't fresh.    LOL

I'm not dissing the big girls, cause me and Becca were huge.  I'm just talking from experience.

LMAO. U know only  a women can say some shoit like that. Even if it is true.  I have been fixed up. I found my wf on my own.  Fix ups can be fun.  Dating doesn't have to be about forever.
